In 2018, after 27-years experience in the business world with Promod, Phildar, Prénatal, Promodès, and Carrefour, Elisabeth Pannas decided to start her own atelier. The textile designer boasts extensive expertise in the textile sector, specifically the use of plant-based dyes on fabric and paper. Her interpretation of colours and motifs is unique, and her artistic world is full of plants, flowers, and colour. The original designs are hand produced using watercolours, felt tipped pens, Bic pens, gouache, and plant-based inks.
The Atelier Jeanne collection is updated every six months. The prints target the fashion, lingerie, home decor, bed linens, accessories, and stationery markets. The atelier partners with certain clients, such as Carrefour, on exclusive projects. Atelier Jeanne sells its original artwork primarily in France and China to a client list that includes the Embry Group, Sépale, Carrefour, and NK Sales.
Ms Pannas’ plant-based dye expertise is also available in educational workshops for the general public: adults, children, schools, associations, and businesses.
