Established in 1994, Digitale Têxtil is a specialized, family-owned, Brazilian business that sells 480,000 kg of digitally printed fabrics a year. Fully integrated from the knitting process, it has a workforce of 50. The Sao Paulo factory, equipped with circular knitting machines and digital printing machines, uses rational manufacturing guidelines to produce 40 tons of printed fabrics a month. Production capacity is 100 tons of printed fabrics and storage capacity is 200 tons.
Digitale Têxtil designs and develops fashion and technical collections for the swimwear, beachwear, and sportswear markets. It uses high-tech microfibres with different characteristics such as UV protection, chlorine resistance, and antibacterial effects. Digitale Têxtil accepts short runs and low minimum orders, delivers quickly, and offers stock service. The company also also takes special orders, working with customers to develop specific products.
Exports account for 10 percent of its business. Digitale Têxtil sells through a network of agents, especially in the United States, Colombia, and Paraguay.
Latest innovation: A new textile treatment based on aloe vera microcapsules moisturizes skin and has an ultra-soft hand.
