About this brand

Le journal intime makes shapewear chic
(shapewear, in lingerie, swimwear and ready-to-wear)
The brand was born of a meeting between two diametrically opposed entities: a Russian company, specializing in post-surgical compression garments, and a renowned French design duo with a well-established reputation in the intimates sector (Maud & Marjorie). Their idea was to revolutionize shapewear by offering ranges of garments that gently sculpt the silhouette without compromising on style and femininity. This is why Le journal intime was created in 2013. From its background in compression, the brand inherited a technological material that is both light and reactive, which shapes the body effectively, while offering genuine wear-comfort. A host of details, such as extra-flat seams, further reinforce comfort levels. From its designers, Le journal intime has inherited a refined style with that French je ne sais quoi: lines feature ultra-feminine cuts to showcase curves, accentuated with lace, sheer effects, touches of velvet and lurex for a glamorous aesthetic. Predominantly black or nude, collections also feature bolder colourways with the occasional addition of elegant shades such as ivory, navy, deep red and royal grey.
