Shaoxing Global Chemical Fiber, a private company founded in 2003, is a major manufacturer for chemical fibres and a leading polyester specialist. The company employs 200 people and produces over 100,000 tons of yarn each year.

Its state-of-the-art production lines, with technology imported from Japan and Germany, cover all the manufacturing steps, from spinning and texturising yarns to science-based quality controls to guarantee product performance.
The company develops five key yarns:
1) the brand new, easy dyeing cationic polyester yarn; 2) fibres PBS (polybutylene succinate) with high elasticity made from oil, which are 100% biodegradable and biosourced; 3) a nylon/polyester yarn with a low melting point (110°); 4) the mass-dope-dyed micro-polypropylene; and 5) Sorona® PTT made from biosourced, corn-based materials.
Shaoxing Global Chemical Fiber has a high profile in the lingerie, swimwear, activewear and childrenswear markets as well as the men’s intimates sector. The business carries out numerous developments in partnership with its clients. Export represents 70 percent of activity, with Sri lanka, Turkey, Japan, India, and Vietnam experiencing strong growth. Tefron, Uniqlo, Adidas, and Puma are among the company’s top clients.
