Eastman creates a showcase for its Naia™ fibre

9 July 2018

Eastman recently obtained traceability certification from the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) for its Naia™ cellulosic fibre, a further demonstration of the company’s responsible and traceable supply chain for its wood-based raw materials. Fabrics manufactured with the Naia™ yarn combine the performances of cellulosic fibre (hand-feel, softness, moisture-wicking, breathability, hypoallergenic) with key aesthetic qualities: fit, shine and drape. Fashion icon, Tina Wilson, a visionary designer who worked for Christian Dior Lingerie before launching the Calvin Klein Underwear collections, has turned her hand to showing off the Naia™ fibre to optimal effect: she drew the highly inspiring sketches, presented on the Interfilière Paris stand, to create comfortable and attractive garments
